Owner and Pool Technician
Hi I am Slade, born and raised in New Plymouth. My family home had a fibreglass, gas heated, in ground swimming pool. I learnt to swim before I could walk! (So my parents tell me.) We moved to Auckland in my teens when my parents started up a swimming pool servicing business there in 2000. Throughout my high school years I was involved in the family business. Later I became a pool technician in the business and stepped up into a management role. After a few years I moved back to Taranaki. I love the mountain and make regular visits exploring the many different tracks. After the lockdown, settling down into my own home and getting married, I decided it was time to help the local pool owners of New Plymouth to enjoy their pools. I do the work and the pool owner does the relaxing. Looking after pools is second nature to me. I not only enjoy work cleaning pools, but also maintaining all the equipment that comes with them. I am Taranaki’s Filtermaster Agent and also provide service for most other brands.
